As we got off the boat at our first port, I was sooo surprised how large our boat was from the outside. This photo does not even do it justice.
Three amigos!
We chose to do a dolphin excursion in Cozumel. We thought it would be fun for Kaleb to be up close with a dolphin. I liked this dolphinarium because it backed right up to the ocean. I guess it seemed a little more natural to them even though they are contained. Can you see how high the dolphin is jumping in the above picture? Amazing.
Of course, we couldn't take our own cameras down to the dolphins, so I took some pictures of another family interacting with them. Don't worry we purchased some of these for your viewing pleasure. (You just have to wait). :-)
Our dolphin had recently had a baby. It was kind of fun because as we interacted and swam with her, her baby was always close by.
After our time with the dolphins we enjoyed authentic Mexican cuisine as we watched the dolphins train and interact with others. Kaleb was more interested in the cheese dip!
6 dolphins jumping at once. Loved them! Such a smart and sweet animal.
After the dolphinarium, we walked down the street to Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville.
Right off of the patio, you could climb in and snorkel and play on the floating toys. You can't really tell by this photo, but the water was really choppy and it was difficult to get onto the floaties. We particularly enjoyed jumping and sliding off the trampoline.
One more shot in Margaritaville
Time to get back on the boat. Kaleb was passed out after his swim.
Kaleb and BriAna left Cozumel with matching dolphins to remember their trip.
