Practicing to be a Ring Bearer

I was very nervous and excited when Jaime asked for Kaleb to be the ring bearer for her and Brendan's  wedding.  It was anticipated to be a beautiful Cape Cod affair and with Kaleb's recent antics I wasn't sure how things would go.  Well, he was awesome. Here are some pictures from the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.  Kaleb is my little rockstar.  Our only challenge for the night was the fact that Kaleb found it necessary to play in the holy water.  Oh well...makes for a good story right? :-) Jaime very sweetly said, "well you can tell the Catholics from the non-Catholics!" Thank the Lord for a laid back bride.

 With mommy and daddy.
Sweet Lizzy was so great with Kaleb.  Here they are playing before walking down the aisle.  Lizzy was a junior bridesmaid. *note Lizzy is a rockstar swimmer who was invited to swim with the Wychmere swim team in Cape Cod while she was visiting.   They noted that she was a "strong swimmer," which is an extreme understatement.
 Jaime and her dad.  Presh.
 My sweet boy.

After the rehearsal, we went on a dinner boat cruise.  It was a beautiful way to see the Cape Cod coastline and seriously, the food was delicious.  I devoured my lobster roll.  Kaleb happily ate his peanut butter and jelly sandwich and relished in the fact that he was on a BOAT!

Leaving port.  The harbor reminded me of my cousin Justin.

 My little hot shot.
My favorite picture now.  Our son is awesome!
Jaime chose her wedding date right around fourth of July. It only seemed appropriate to photograph the American flag behind the boat.  I just loved how God orchestrated the rainbow behind the image of the flag.  He still has a promise for our great country.
And then...the sun began to set.  I could not help myself; it was simply beautiful.

And then we came back to the harbor excited for Jaime and Brendan's big day!
