Baby

Kaleb has started something new as of yesterday.  He received a Mickey Mouse in the mail from Nana and Papa for Valentine's Day and he has been carrying it all around the house calling him baby.  If you call him Mickey, Kaleb will correct you and say "baby."  Kaleb takes baby poo poo (to which he accidentally dangled his hand into the water-thankfully it was clean), brushes his hair, kisses his boo boos, feeds him, lets him sit on his lap etc.  Today Kaleb took baby to swim lessons.  Thankfully, Mickey did not have to swim.  Kaleb loves his Mickey and is obviously obsessed with babies as well.  Three residency friends have had babies in the last month and Kaleb is very curious.  The other night when we asked him what he wanted to pray about, he asked for a baby.  The three of us prayed together and asked God for a baby.

It's hard to know what is going on in his little two-year old mind.  Is he wanting to be like his friends, or are babies just cool to him right now?  We don't know, but we're praying for another little one for our family too.  In the meantime, we'll enjoy Kaleb's healthy imagination with his Mickey baby.  He is too sweet.
